Accounting Clerk

Our dealership is growing and we are looking to hire an experienced Accounting Clerk. The purpose of the Accounting Clerk will be to help in various positions throughout the accounting office.

Job Responsibilities

• Processes daily deposits including checks, cash, and credit card transactions
• Collects payment on invoices
• Sending monthly statements to vendors of unpaid invoices
• Maintains accuracy of all receivable accounts
• Ensures accurate coding of all bank deposits
• Identifies discrepancies and resolve billing issues
• Process payoffs on trade-ins and floorplan
• Prepare vehicle contracts to be sent to financial institutions
• Reconcile inventory schedules
• Verify and input data 
• Make copies and process paperwork
• Attends weekly department meetings

Education and/or Experience

Candidates with auto dealership accounting are preferred, but we are willing to train the right person.

Compensation is based on experience.
